Key Benefits:
By using Air Sac Mite Eliminator you will kill all the internal mites that is causing the problem.

Signs & Symptoms:

Signs to look for is open mouth breathing a heavy breathing, soiled feathers around the nostrils, a clicking sound when you put the bird up to your ear, coughing and sneezing, and when the bird stops singing. If the bird is treated right away they can bounce back in 2 to 3 days, but if the bird is breathing hard with the mouth open then sometimes it can take up to 6 weeks for the bird to be back to normal.

A bird that is severely infected should be treated with an antibiotic such as AMTYL or BAYTRIL as they can develop a secondary infection from the mites.  When treating for Air Sac Mites or Scaly Face Mites, or Scaley Legs you should also use the Insect & Mite Eliminator to spray the bird for external parasites plus spray the cages and perches, nesting boxes, and surrounding areas. Any time you bring new birds home they should be treated with Air Sac Mite Eliminator and sprayed with Insect & Mite Eliminator to protect your other birds from new stock coming in with mites.

Recommended For:
Birds of all species
1 drop for Finches, and Canary's, Lady Gouldians,  put on the back of the neck or under the wing and repeat in 14 days.
2 drops for Parakeets and retreat in 14 days.
3 to 4 drops for larger birds.

The life cycle of the Air Sac Mite is 14 to 21 days. The Air Sac Mite Eliminator remains active in the blood stream of the bird for 3 weeks.

See that you put the correct dosage on the bird, as putting more then recommended this can harm the bird.
One thing to keep in mind if the bird is so infested with the mites placing the drop on the bird this can cause the mites to start dying and clog up the air ways and the bird can suffocate but the bird would die in time if not treated,so be sure and treat 3 to 4 times a year and not wait till the bird is so infested.

Giving too little medication is going to be ineffective and giving too much will lead to a massive die off of the mites and can cause respiratory blockage.
Not recommended for birds under 4 months, in less you feel its the only chance you have of keeping the bird alive then only give half the dosage.
